Error #C00D0BBD: "You need a license to perform the requested operation on this media file"

When you try to convert a Windows Media (.wma) file to another format, you will get this error on some files:

! Failed to open source file (error #C00D0BBD)
! You need a license to perform the requested operation on this media file

This message is a standard message that comes from the Windows Media component. It means that the Windows Media audio file is protected by Digital Rights Management  (DRM) and the content owner prohibits conversions to another format.
