How to change the default naming scheme or default output directory?

To change the default output directory:

1. Go to File | Settings | General
2. On the General settings tab, click Edit next to the Default File Naming Scheme field.
3. In the Naming Scheme Editor dialog, select the Other directory radio button.
4. Click Browse to select a directory and click OK twice.

This default output directory will not be used for audio CD tracks. See Q1008 for information on how to change the default output directory for audio CD tracks.

The default naming scheme can be changed in a similar way by using the Naming Scheme Editor.
